Business is great and we are gearing up for our busiest summer ever.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Building the most beautiful bikes in the world. (50%)

  • Wheel truing skills are a must. 
  • Wheel building skills preferred. 
  • Communication skills that will make you a great teacher. Some of our customers will want you to show them how to build their own bike. 

2. Providing stellar customer service. (30%) 

  • Sales experience preferred. 
  • You should be friendly, approachable, and articulate so that we can exceed our customers expectations in person, over the phone, via email, and IM. 

3. What ever it takes. We need someone that is willing to: (20%) 

  • Work directly with vendors to replenish our inventory. 
  • Give us a hand with some data entry. 
  • Keep the store looking great (even if it means sweeping or dusting). 
  • Be flexible and take initiative. 


Who we are looking for: 

  • Someone with energy, a strong work ethic, and a good attitude will be key. 
  • You should handle stress well. During the most chaotic moments, our customers should perceive that you are calm, confident and friendly. 
  • Our preference is that you have at least one year of experience in a bike shop. 
  • Please be willing to work at least one weekend day each week (occasionally two). 
  • We will need you full time this summer, but if you want to start out part time we will work with you. 

Estimated start date: end of April or early May.
