Orlando Angel
To clear his mind, Orlando rides to a cemetery near his house. Along the way he stops for beer and to smell actual roses. Wild deer roam the cemetery grounds that overlook the whole San Francisco Bay — plus, he knows a spot where you can see a human skeleton. Bikes, roses, bones, deer, and beer, "I don't have this tattoo but someone out there should," he says. Fitting for someone named Angel.
A Southern California native, Orlando moved across the country after college to familiarize himself with the phenomenon of seasons, and to "play house" in the forest. He designed book covers, made clothing, and generally had a blast. When the woods felt too small he made the trek back to California, this time to the Bay Area.
Orlando is a renaissance man. He contributes photography, graphic/web/package design, writing, vendor relations, customer service and more. He's a master of the lunch date and helps connect the dots of what we do for the world.
Orlando is the only staffer to play with sparklers outside... during a tornado.
