Coldest Winter: An SF Summer

June 2, 2014

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco" -Mark Twain*

Drop into any July afternoon here and you're likely to see Karl The Fog rolling east across the city, tourists in shorts shivering on the Golden Gate Bridge, and trees bent sideways by cold Pacific wind. San Francisco has the coldest average summer temperatures of any major US city. And not by a little, by a lot. Around 20 degrees cooler.

So naturally, we're offering our Daily/Nightly hoodie at $20 off for a limited time. "Summer" pricing for a "summer" hoodie.

Nightly is printed in reflective vinyl for passing motorists.

If asked what your hoodie means, explain it with pride, "I ride daily and nightly." This is not something we take lightly. MF stands for, yeah you guessed it, m'fer! Adding that in your explanation is optional.

Hoodie zips with an upcycled bicycle tube valve.

Grab your hoodie here.

*Contrary to popular belief, Mark Twain is not the author of this famous quote. That distinction goes to an 18th century English actor named James Quin.

In Taming The Bicycle , Twain's short work on learning to ride a high-wheel, he wrote, "Then he left me, and I started out alone to seek adventures. You don't really have to seek them — that is nothing but a phrase — they come to you."

Go forth wherever you are and let the adventures find you. If you're in San Francisco, bundle up.
