Created and published on the occasion of the 2012 London Olympics, Ugo Gattani's accordion fold "leporello" book rightly deserves the podium and the gold-medal. Bicycle depicts a dense and curious bicycle race through the crowded streets of London involving not just racers but kids, moms, couriers and more. It was drawn entirely by hand over 723 hours, is massive in scale at over 6 feet long, and is obsessively intricate in detail.

Bicycle's accordion pages can be flipped like a book, explored for details, or displayed as a large fine art print. At 6 feet long and 16 inches wide you can expect hours of investigation and appreciation. It's hard to describe how unique Bicycle is, but it's easy to see.

Bicycle was drawn in its entirety using a Rapidograph Rotring Pen on paper.
