Retail Manager Position | Part-time Sales Specialist
We're building a monolith to the moooon! Not really, but we are looking for celestial bodies as we grow. Want to stargaze with us?
3/31 UPDATE: The retail manager position has been filled. We're still on the hunt for part-time sales help.
We're searching for the right citizen cyclist to take the helm of our retail store. Our focus on commuters makes the space, and the opportunities, unique in the bicycle world. This new position will manage the retail shop to grow our product offerings, improve each customer's experience, and inspire our staffers. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who has compelling ideas and wants to see them realized. This is a new position for a new chapter, and will work directly with company GM, Jefferson.
To compliment the manager position we're also looking for a part-timer to help the team and the shop succeed in this new iteration.
When Mission was founded in 2008 our bikes were built in a borrowed conference room. We graduated to a warehouse on Cesar Chavez Street, and then finally to our home on Valencia Street. When we outgrew that space, but couldn't move the walls, we moved bike building into a workshop across the street. We're excited that next month, we're bringing every wheel, pedal, and mechanic back into 766 Valencia, and a new build workshop on the 2nd floor.
We've got big plans for this year and next year and the next. We're about to launch a brand new component, designed and manufactured entirely in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're soon to unveil a peerless visualizer that will make designing bikes online more intuitive and more fun. Just yesterday Ryan met with our friends at Bike Index to ensure all new Mission Bicycles are registered before they leave the shop. There's more, we just can't say more yet.
