7075 aluminum was developed in secret in the 1930's by a Japanese company to build jets. Today, it's found in rock climbing gear, hang gliding frames, and the M16.
It's used to make stuff people trust their life with, stuff that's easy to carry and move, because it's that strong and that light.
It's also the anatomy of the new Lattice Chainring.
The ring is precision milled from a single piece of 7075 aluminum. This allows the lattice cutouts to originate from both sides for a woven effect. All the negative space gives the impression of fragility, but the execution is sculptural and the result is structural. 47 teeth, 1/8" thick, and ready to ride hard.
To finish, each ring is brushed and anodized in black or silver for lasting color.
We're serving them up as is - to replace your existing chainring - or mounted as a complete crankset. Take your pick, grab your Lattice here.
